The Everglades in the south of Florida is one of the most remarkable locations on the planet. In the summer the alligators inhabit the swamp itself but stay upstream during the winter months when the water becomes more salty. Everglade City can be reached in about 3 and a half hours. The Keys are a group of island connected by bridges starting at Key Largo in the East and reaching out to Key West.
